Suttons Corner
In Southwest Georgia, there are two museums: the Suttons Corner Frontier Country Store Museum and David Campbell, the man who created it. Savage Tree has had the immense pleasure of gathering both their stories and are working on creating video and audio tours of the museum, as well as a book and a documentary film.
For 10 years, Campbell excavated and catalogued the items in the museum — the largest collection of Frontier American artifacts on display — discovering which items were missing from the store and tracking them down. Thanks to his tireless efforts, every item in the museum has a story; and his is no less fascinating.
Savages involved: Kristi Casey Sanders (director/writer); Ashby Wratchford, Michael McReynolds and Brent Dey (cameramen); and Mimi Epstein (sound).

We are proud to announce that Savage Tree was the recipient of a grant to complete a video tour for the museum. We will be working on editing down some of our documentary footage for use at multiple viewing stations throughout the museum. Look for news about a launch party near the end of 2008/beginning of 2009.
Thanks for your support!
